Senior Manager, AV Solutions

As the Senior Manager, AV Solutions, you will serve as a lead consultant and subject matter expert, guiding Rockbot clients through the design and implementation of cutting-edge audio-visual systems that enhance customer experiences in brick-and-mortar businesses. You will provide strategic expertise to ensure high-quality communication and collaboration between our clients, their customers, and their teams - both front and back of house. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering flawless AV solutions, managing AV services, driving technical innovation, and optimizing operations for efficiency.

You will:

• Serve as a strategic advisor to Rockbot clients, guiding them in the design and implementation of high-quality AV solutions tailored to their needs.
• Lead the planning, execution, and management of AV partnerships, ensuring seamless service delivery across multiple locations and integration with existing technology platforms.
• Collaborate with Rockbot Marketing to showcase the full range of our platform’s capabilities.
• Provide AV support for events, trade shows, and meetings, ensuring seamless setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Oversee the installation and operation of AV systems, including video, digital displays, sound systems, and related equipment.
• Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, equipment procurement, and service quality oversight.
• Act as the AV expert for QA testing and support engineering teams in delivering exceptional AV experiences.
• Ensure AV systems are proactively maintained and updated to prevent technical issues and optimize performance.
• Potential to build and lead a small team, contingent on demonstrated success and measurable growth in volume.

You have:

• A deep technical understanding of AV systems and technologies, including video, digital signage, and sound system operations.
• Strong experience designing and supporting distributed video installations using IP, modulators, and multi-device solutions. 
• Experience with designing and supporting large scale audio installation including 8ohm, 70/100v systems with amplification and DSP. 
• Excellent project management experience deploying AV solutions.
• Vendor negotiation and management within corporate offices, IT, buying and deployment 
• 7+ years of experience in AV management, with a proven track record of leading teams and successfully delivering AV projects.
• Experience with AV networking including: VLANs, subnets, AVoIP, QoS, bandwidth calculations, switch management and design.
• Expertise in working with AV control systems like Crestron, Extron, QSC, and similar platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation:

Rockbot takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location in the U.S. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

The compensation band for this role is $100k to $150k, as well as equity, and benefits for all team members.
