The Difference You Will Make:
Airbnb is seeking a Senior Manager for Advanced Analytics to provide critical support in growing high-quality supply for existing and new businesses worldwide. This role will directly report to the Director of Advanced Analytics, and work closely with the VP of Supply. The Senior Manager will lead an innovative team focused on Supply Diagnostics and Supply Management, delivering data-driven insights and building tools for effective management of supply. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business acumen and data science expertise.
A Typical Day:
- Spearhead Advanced Analytics initiatives aimed at optimizing supply quality and growth strategies across various types of supply and markets.
- Serve as a key analytics partner to the VP Supply, providing data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with teams including Strategic Finance, Data Engineering, Strategy and Intelligence, Data Science, and Product Marketing in addition to other cross-functional teams.
- Develop meaningful metrics and KPIs to gauge the performance and impact of supply-related initiatives.
- Lead a geographically distributed team, fostering a culture of innovation, growth, and collaboration.
- Ensure smooth communication and alignment across different time zones and cultural contexts.
Your Expertise:
- Extensive experience in advanced analytics, preferably in marketplace and/or travel industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in employing data science to solve business problems and drive growth.
- Experience in leading and motivating a geographically distributed team.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to foster strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills, with the ability to derive insightful and actionable strategies from complex data.
- A quantitative undergraduate degree is required; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
Your Location:
This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. How We'll Take Care of You:
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

$204,000—$255,000 USD
