We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Ads Design to set the design direction for Snap’s advertising products. You will work with a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, product researchers, and data scientists to build products and experiences that help big brands, small businesses, and creators find success on Snapchat.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead a high-performing design team by hiring and retaining exceptional talent.

  • Coach team members toward meaningful career growth, and foster a kind, smart, and creative culture

  • Set the design direction for monetization experiences in Snapchat, as well as tools for businesses, agencies, and creators

  • Represent Design with senior leadership, aligning across Product and Engineering, and shaping roadmap and business strategy

  • Work with Product Research to identify the needs of advertisers, creators, agencies, and Snapchatters to improve existing products and features

  • Own and improve aspects of our enterprise design system

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience as a people manager, with a strong track record of coaching team members, fostering a high-performing, inclusive team culture

  • An expert communicator who can effectively communicate a design and vision

  • Ability to think at a high level about product strategy

  • Strong visual design skills and passion for interaction design

  • Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous work environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience designing web and mobile applications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of work experience

  • 3+ years of management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience designing advertising tools for businesses

  • A strong portfolio showcasing your work

  • Experience using AI tools for design and prototyping

  • Deep understanding of Snapchat products

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $251,000-$377,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $238,000-$358,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $213,000-$320,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.

  • 10+ years of experience designing web and mobile applications
