The Senior Accounting Manager will oversee all aspects of the company's accounting and financial reporting functions. This role will maintain and improve the financial processes and controls, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the accounting team as a secondary layer of review for complete and accurate financial inputs and proper controls documentation.


Job Expectations:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including footnotes in compliance with GAAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee the preparation of recurring operational accounting tasks covering fixed assets, leases/subleases, raw materials, internally developed software, and capitalization of cloud computing costs.
  • Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulation and SOX.
  • Enforce accounting policies and procedures to maintain accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance team.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842) and assess their impact on the company's financial statements.
  • Provide application guidance for complex and technical transactions and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Perform financial fluctuation analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks to identify potential errors.
  • Assist in ad hoc financial projects and analyses as required by the Controller and Assistant Controller.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with technical accounting issues.
  • Experience in a high-growth E-commerce or tech company is a plus.
  • Public Company experience or exposure to post or newly IPO companies
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

                                                     

Equipment Knowledge:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
  • SAP S4 Hana experience preferred
  • Experience with Blackline preferred
  • Experience with Workiva preferred 


Experience Requirements:

Generally, requires a minimum eight (8) to ten (10) years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 (3) years in a managerial role.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
  • CPA license is required

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work.  The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.  iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.

Hired applicant may be awarded Restrict Stock Units and receive annual bonuses pursuant to eligibility and performance criteria defined in the respective plan documents and policies.
