What is the Opportunity?
Are you a finance professional with a passion for managing finance operations? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where your expertise can make a significant impact? We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager to join Parallel by RBC.
As a Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting accounting, bookkeeping and financial activities for our ultra-high-net-worth clients. Your primary objective will be to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of their financial operations.
What will you do?

Prepare draft financial statements and supporting schedules for external tax advisors ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and accounting standards.

Collaborate with Parallel finance lead to manage a high volume of accounting, including reconciliation and compliance.

Help ensure that we develop and implement procedures, streamlining processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.

Maintain and provide support to maintain client financial records ensure we uphold efficiency and readiness for tax season and major financial events.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel ensuring we are always aligned in the client’s best interest.

Create a structured and proactive approach towards Year-End closing procedures

Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.

Conduct regular financial reviews, identifying areas for improvement and exploring appropriate solutions.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
-
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Canadian CPA certification is required.
-
Proven experience in a senior finance or accounting role within a family office or wealth management firm.

Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial planning, and analysis.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proficiency in financial management software and systems.
Nice to have:

US CPA certification is highly desirable.
