Role Overview  

Senior Manager I, Merchant Account Management is a team leader who oversees Rocket Now's major Merchants. In addition to the ability to analyze various data, the position requires flexible judgment to understand and execute the field. The position must have organizational management capabilities and be able to establish and achieve team OKRs. 

What You Will Do 

  • Build and manage relationships with merchants to drive business growth
  • Analyze merchant performance data and develop tailored growth strategies
  • Identify and resolve merchants' pain points through high-impact projects
  • Build long-term relationships with merchants, ensuring high levels of merchants satisfaction
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align business goals  
  • Short-term business trips to Fukuoka
  • Business level English (speaking/reading/writing)

Basic Qualifications 

  • 12~20+ years of sales, business development, or account management experience
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales or growth targets
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in Japanese
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, SQL, or other BI/CRM tool
