Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking an experienced Management Reporting Business Systems Analyst (MR BSA) to support Finance transformation initiatives with a focus on financial management reporting systems, data platforms, and reporting enablement across Autodesk’s Finance landscape. This role blends Finance domain knowledge, business systems analysis, and reporting/data expertise to help deliver accurate, timely, and scalable management reporting capabilities.
You will partner closely with Finance stakeholders (GTM Finance, Accounting, Controllership), Finance PMO, Engineering and Product teams, and cross-functional programs expanding our SAP platform and enterprise data ecosystem. The role includes hands-on contribution to requirements and solution validation, process mapping, data model understanding, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for reporting and upstream Finance processes.
As part of a global delivery model, this role partners closely with Finance stakeholders, Project Managers, Engineering teams, Product Managers, and US-based leads. Most work is completed during local business hours; however, successful candidates will be flexible and engaged in joining select meetings during Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours, particularly during active UAT cycles. Time shifting is not required, but presence during key discussions will support stronger outcomes.
Responsibilities
Management Reporting Systems & Reporting Enablement
Partner with and Finance stakeholders to define, validate, and prioritize Management Reporting requirements, KPIs, and business definitions
Analyze and document end-to-end reporting flows, including upstream ERP and operational source systems, transformation logic, and downstream consumption tools.
Support reporting across multiple environments and tools (e.g., SAP reporting layers, enterprise data hubs, data warehouses, business intelligence platforms).
Develop deep understanding of complex reporting data models used for corporate financial reporting and management reporting
Provide feedback on solution designs to ensure reporting outputs are accurate, auditable, and fit-for-purpose for Finance decision-making
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
7+ years of experience in business systems analysis and/or Finance-focused business analysis supporting reporting, data, or ERP initiatives
Experience working with Finance reporting requirements, corporate accounting concepts, and management reporting needs
Hands-on proficiency with queries and data analysis (SQL); ability to validate and reconcile reporting results
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall) and requirements lifecycle management
Hands-on experience with SAP Finance and management reporting environments; familiarity with Finance data domains (e.g., record-to-report, order-to-cash)
Experience with cloud data warehousing and modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and enterprise data hub concepts
Experience with BI/reporting tools and environments (e.g., SAP BusinessObjects, Sigma
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain Finance reporting concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Proficiency with business process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP, Scrum, QA/testing) and/or finance
certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA)Experience supporting UAT for Finance reporting or ERP implementations, including defect management and audit-ready evidence
