About the Role

Essity seeks an experienced Senior Management Assistant to support the VP of Finance and VP Pricing & Commercial Excellence, Professional Hygiene. This hybrid role requires independent judgment, discretion, confidentiality, and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities include managing executives’ schedules, travel arrangements, organizing conferences and executive meetings, creating agendas, organizing meetings/activities, and capturing meeting notes.

What You Will Do
  • Compile, verify, and analyze information for executive meetings, reports, presentations, and news releases.

  • Transcribe, type, format, and proofread various materials using word processing, presentation, graphics, and spreadsheet software.

  • Manage expenses and reporting for the VPs.

  • Prepare documents and presentation materials; screen and respond to correspondence, inquiries, and phone calls; draft letters and official information releases; arrange and attend meetings; take and distribute minutes.

  • Coordinate internal and external executive meetings/activities, including scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements, and ensuring meeting amenities are available.

  • Manage the appointments and schedules of the VPs.

  • Access executives' email accounts to schedule appointments and answer or redirect routine inquiries.

  • Maintain and update internal local communication and participate in (inter)national communication networks.

  • Perform other administrative tasks, such as using and maintaining office equipment, distributing incoming mail, filing, data capturing, or maintaining office supplies or other inventory. Plan, organize, and schedule own workload to complete activities accurately and on time.

Who You Are
  • Prior experience as an Executive or Senior Administrative Assistant, familiar with VP and Director level work.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

  • 5+ years of work experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Word.

  • Experience with Concur or similar expense management systems, and Egencia or similar travel management systems.

  • Ability to work with others.
