About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team. You'll work closely with the co-founders and a small, high-caliber engineering team to design, build, and scale core product features. Your work will span a range of technical challenges, including applying machine learning techniques to improve system intelligence and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the leadership to develop and implement full stack projects
- Design and implement APIs using NodeJS
- Work with multimodal models and embedding-based systems, including building and leveraging vector representations of text, images, or other data types to support search, recommendation, or classification use cases.
- Develop and maintain user interfaces using React and Redux
- Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability of the platform
- Create and optimize data pipelines and internal tooling, including designing and maintaining ETL processes
- Deploy production-ready projects on AWS using containerization, ALB, and ECS
- Monitor platform performance and implement necessary improvements
- Maintain a high standard of code quality and structure
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Deep understanding of JavaScript language nuances and best practices
- Intermediate knowledge of UI design, including SCSS and animations
- Experience deploying production-ready projects on AWS, including containerization, ALB, and ECS
- Familiarity with logging and alerting using CloudWatch or alternative monitoring technologies
- Keen attention to detail in code structure and style
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript-based languages
- 3+ years of experience developing APIs in NodeJS
