Overview
 

We are looking for highly motivated and talented Associate Machine learning Engineers to join our growing AI Platform team. This role is ideal for recent graduates from top universities who have demonstrated strong academic performance and hands-on experience with machine learning projects. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge ML infrastructure, model development, and deployment at scale, collaborating with a dynamic team of engineers and data scientists.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize feature engineering strategies to support ML models.

• Build and maintain scalable ML systems for model training, inference, and deployment.

• Design and implement end-to-end ML pipelines, including data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation.

• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to enhance ML capabilities.

• Implement best practices in version control, MLOps, and model reproducibility.

• Work with cloud-based infrastructure to deploy and manage ML models efficiently.

• Leverage workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and AWS Step Functions to automate and manage ML pipelines.

• Contribute to research and development efforts to enhance our AI capabilities.
   

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field from a top university.

• Strong academic record with a high GPA and/or with strong fundamentals in computer science and AI.

• 1-2 years of industry or coop/internship experience

• Solid programming skills in Python

• Exposure/experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS(preferred), GCP, or Azure

• Understanding of MLOps practices, version control (Git), and model deployment techniques.

• Exposure/experience with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions for ML pipeline automation.

• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed computing principles.

• Exposure/experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, or data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for AI and machine learning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure/experience with feature engineering and feature stores.

• Exposure/experience with big data technologies (Apache Spark, Kafka).

• Exposure/experience with CI/CD pipelines for ML applications.

• Exposure/experience with model monitoring and observability tools 

• Exposure/experience with Generative AI (GenAI) techniques, including LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and model deployment

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

• A strong sense of continuous learning mindset and humility with a willingness to seek feedback and improve

• Salary Disclosure:Base Salary range: $115,000 - $135,000

  This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity,  comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
