Ready to make an impact? Peraton is seeking a cleared mid-level Site Lead with an engineering or construction background, to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop a next generation satellite terminal. The program provides architectural, design, construction and engineering of terminals and systems support as well as operation and maintenance of Ground Terminals for DoD.
This is an on-site position in Colorado Springs, CO on Shriever SFB, where you will be working closely with civilian subcontractors in addition to your primary team to build up the Ground Terminal facility and prepare it for antenna installations.
The Site Lead will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
- Monitors construction activities, provides daily and weekly reporting and updates of status to prime
- Coordinates with on-base personnel
- Assists with permitting processes including documentation and coordinating visits to the site by decision makers
- Attends meetings, provides some guidance to sub-contractors including site safety enforcement
- Works with remote logistics team regarding shipping, base access coordination, site activity deconfliction
- Typical work schedule is 7-4, M-F adjusting for day to day needs of the project
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 8 years of related experience, or High-school Diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a completed degree
- Engineering background or prior construction industry experience required
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Willing to take relevant trainings including safety, aerial lifts, telehandler.
- Secret level clearance

- Experience with MS Project is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with CAD or MS Visio

Target Salary Range$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
