Senior Logistics Specialists

Purpose of job (principal task)

• Responsible for Thailand inbound and outbound inter-company shipments, including receiving delivery notes (DN) and shipping documents from Planner/Customer Service, coordinating shipment arrangements with forwarders, and providing ETD/ETA updates to relevant stakeholders. Ensure all shipping documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with export regulations.
• Manage end-to-end spare parts operations  including customer service coordination and delivery to customers.
• Act as the key coordinator between Planner, Customer Service, and logistics partners to manage shipment enquiries and provide real-time shipment status updates.
• Monitor 3PL warehouse performance and KPIs and organize weekly and monthly KPI review meetings to ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement (Thailand scope).
• Manage overall Thailand logistics operations covering both chemicals/spare parts including import/export cargo management, customs clearance, regulatory compliance, warehouse (internal and external) and distribution management, 3PL vendor management, and logistics contract management.
• Lead, manage, and provide guidance to one Logistics Officer to ensure smooth daily operations and team development.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related fields
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Logistics, chemical industry is preferred
• Expertise in chemical cargo handling and understanding of  IMDG, IATA, ADR, and other HAZMAT related requirements
• Strong knowledge and understanding of local and international regulations related to chemicals
• Knowledge of SAP logistic module and Office software
• Good command of spoken and written communication skills in English and local language(s)
• Self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourcefulness and adaptability
• Ability to coordinate across functions and locations to ensure successful outcomes
• Effective time management skills including sequencing of own work and resource time management
