Position: Senior Logistics Specialist – International Programs
Overview: ITC Defense is hiring a Senior Logistics Specialist to support International Programs at the Joint Consolidation Point (JCP) in Mechanicsburg, PA. This role leads day-to-day logistics operations, supervises a small support team, and ensures accurate shipment preparation and delivery for U.S. government and international programs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a 3-person Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) team
- Oversee all contractor logistics activities at the Joint Consolidation Point (JCP)
- Ensure shipments are prepared correctly, including:
- Documentation and shipment packets
- Material readiness and compliance
- Marking, labeling, and shipping accuracy
- Review and approve monthly contractor status reports
- Coordinate daily and weekly meetings and conference calls with government and contractor teams
- Support special projects and other logistics tasks assigned
- Escort sensitive or mission-critical materials to final delivery locations when required
- Other duties as assigned.
- Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Master’s degree plus ten (10) years of relevant experience
- Acceptable alternative: Bachelor’s degree plus 4 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree
- In lieu of an advanced degree, additional relevant work experience may be substituted
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of these fields:
- Logistics or supply chain management
- Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
- Program or acquisition support
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Background in transportation and shipping operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience supporting DoD or international programs
