Position: Senior Logistics Analyst (Growler Support)
*This is a part time position.
Overview: This position supports tasking in PMA-265, NAVAIR Head Quarters in Patuxent River, MD. The successful candidate will support the Australia FMS F/A-18 customer and shall provide technical and analytical support services for integration and sustainment planning to the USN FMS IPT for the F/A-18 air vehicle, subsystems, armament, engine, spares and support equipment efforts. Provides guidance and supervision for logistics analysts supporting aircraft, weapon systems, training, or SE programs.
Responsibilities:
  • Provides guidance and supervision for logistics analysts supporting aircraft, weapon systems, training, or SE programs 
  • Developing LOA data; providing independent quantitative resource analysis of integration and sustainment resource requirements; assessing case requirements to ensure effective F/A-18 operations and support programs; reviewing and providing administrative and technical recommendations on aircraft configuration changes, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Technical Directive kit incorporation, and provide life cycle management support services 
  • Provide recommendations for the development of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) Management Plans as well as providing recommendations for the review and development of Maintenance Plans/Logistics Support Analysis (MP/LSA) records, maintenance tasks and Level of Repair (LOR) Analysis recommendations 
  • Coordinating, supporting and attending reviews, meetings, conferences, briefings and other significant support activities and events occurring in CONUS or other country locations, as required, to perform analysis in support of the USN FMS IPT 
  • Analyzing USN FMS IPT pre-case requirements for prospective programs. Recommending life cycle planning alternatives and courses of action that satisfy defined program objectives 
  • Works on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control. 
  • Supports SMEs for ILS areas of Avionics, Power and Propulsion, and maintenance planning 
  • Develops, modifies, prepares or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems and management information systems. 
  • Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition or financial data and information 
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • An Active Secret Clearance is required in order to be considered.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in acquisition and/or operational logistics support/maintenance engineering, or a Society of Logistics Engineers (SOLE) Logistician certification as a Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML) plus six (6) years recent experience in acquisition logistics/maintenance engineering.
    • Experience must include: four (4) years supervising/directing at least two (2) acquisition/logistics managers in the performance of comprehensive analysis across the spectrum of ILS elements during a job assignment in or in support of an acquisition command  
  • Four (4) years of DoD acquisition logistics support experience to include specific experience in acquisition planning and management. Experience must demonstrate the ability to perform independent work to provide logistics and support system effectiveness analysis, studies and evaluations in support of DoD weapons systems and equipment  
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with US Navy Supply
  • Prior military/aviation experience

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Philadelphia, PA, ITC Defense is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the city and state of Philadelphia, PA and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $26.00 - $28.00 per hour.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
