Amentum is seeking a Senior Logistician to join our team. This position plans, organizes, develops, and executes multiple logistics functions which may include transportation, service, property, supply, inventory, and warehousing
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for executing supply functions in the following areas: Receiving, inspecting, inventory, loading/unloading, segregating, storing, issuing, delivering and turn-in organizational and installation supplies and equipment.
- Maintains and oversees accountability records.
- Conducts Inventory briefings.
- Maintains files in accordance with the Army Records Information Management System.
- Research and resolves more complex property book / supply system related discrepancies.
- Operates a variety of software programs tailored specifically to manage logistical functions, such as procurement, inventory management, and other supply chain planning and management systems.
- Assist units with merging / splitting and transferring of property books, augment cyclic and sensitive item inventories per regulation and assist units in acquiring and expediting supplies from approved source.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety practices and support the Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
- Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of Quality Management System.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 yrs. experience as a logistician in Property Book or Supply
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have an active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Must have a passport that is valid for at least 1-year.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Kuwait work permit/resident visa.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of inventory management required.
- Knowledge of U.S. Army inventory management accountings systems.
- Must be able to perform several tasks at one time, keep detailed records, and simultaneously manage several projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to handle unforeseen issues, such as delivery problems, and adjust plans as needed to resolve the issues.
- Ability to work effectively with employees and management of all levels (including multinational staff, superiors and ranking military officers).
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities to accommodate a demanding workload.
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required.
- Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook applications is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently working in Kuwait with valid and transferrable visa
- US Army MOS 92A or 92Y preferred.
- 2 yrs. Supervisory skills or higher, is preferred
- Experience operating Repair Data software solution and other commercial and DOD software programs tailored specifically to manage logistical functions, such as procurement, inventory management, and other supply chain planning and management systems
Physical Requirements:
- Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladders, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.
- Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.
- Requires the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift.
- Requires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift.
- Requires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift.
- Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.

Medical Requirements
- Successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required by Amentum and our customer for deployments.

Working and Living Conditions:
This position may be in a war zone, in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to an extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit/50-55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment, as well as willing and able to deploy to CENTCOM, EUCOM, and AFRICOM for extended periods. Work schedules are a minimum of 6 days per week and 10 hours per day, while some jobs have higher daily and weekly minimums.
