Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Linux Systems Administrator to join our Intelligence Sector within CABA. Our team leads the way in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), SIGINT, Mission Software, and advanced analytics supporting critical national security missions.

What you will be doingAs a Linux Systems Administrator, you will support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems and infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in ensuring system performance, security compliance, and operational reliability across a variety of environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure systems meet STE/STN security and compliance requirements
Manage user accounts, access controls, and security tools
Configure and maintain Linux/UNIX and Windows systems
Provide IT support and troubleshooting across servers, storage, networks, and mobile devices
Monitor system performance and resolve issues to maintain network integrity
Support system optimization, capacity planning, and automation efforts
Assist users and resolve escalated technical issues
Install and maintain hardware/software and support dispatch systems
Experience: 10+ years as a System Administrator supporting programs of similar scope and complexity
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or 5 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
Technical Skills:
Ansible (playbook development and maintenance)
VMware administration
AWS (EC2, EFS, S3 fundamentals)
Automation and scripting
VMDK creation/deployment
HP hardware and remote management
Cross-team collaboration
Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
