Join our team as a Senior Linux System Engineer and help scale and optimize a complex Linux platform in a dynamic, project-driven environment!
We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux System Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale Linux platform as part of a dynamic operations and project team for our client. You’ll play a key role in both maintaining and scaling the infrastructure, working closely with developers to troubleshoot issues, deploy new systems, and improve the overall stability and performance of the environment.
- Operate, support, and further develop the Linux platform within a collaborative DevOps environment
- Assist developers in technical matters such as:
- System setup
- Infrastructure customization
- Debugging and fixing platform-related issues
- Participate in the automation and configuration of systems using Ansible
- Work with high availability (HA) and load balancing technologies
- Support containerization efforts with Podman and Kubernetes
- Maintain high security standards across systems (PKI, hardening, SecOps)
- Participate in on-call rotations after the initial onboarding period
- Several years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration, ideally with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Strong understanding of HA/load balancing technologies
- Proficiency in container technologies: Podman, Kubernetes
- Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management
- Security-focused mindset (e.g., PKI, hardening, operational security practices)
WOULD BE A PLUS
- Certifications such as LPIC, RHCSA, or RHCE
