Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems across production and development environments.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, network, and application issues.
- Manage user access, permissions, and system security policies.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Collaborate with DevOps, network, and security teams to optimize infrastructure.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Maintain system documentation, procedures, and configurations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in Linux system administration.
- Strong experience with major Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef) is preferred.
