The Role

Maxio is a PE-backed software business that helps B2B SaaS companies unlock their next stage of growth. We are committed to redefining how CFOs and CEOs run their businesses, raise money, and manage investors.
Our billing & financial operations platform is designed to meet the unique challenges of B2B SaaS companies, including complex billing, subscription management, revenue, and expense recognition. The platform also provides investor-grade SaaS operating metrics and analytics that help executives run their companies more effectively & raise money more efficiently.
Today, Maxio serves over 2,000 customers and processes more than $17B in revenue for those customers. 
We are on the lookout of Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager
who will help us develop and implement strategies to enhance customer engagement, drive retention, and maximize revenue growth through targeted, data-driven marketing initiatives.

 

WHAT:

  • Develop and execute lifecycle marketing strategies that increase customer engagement, satisfaction, and revenue
  • Create compelling and targeting messaging across various channels to communicate product updates, company news, and educational content
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, customer success, and marketing to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers, market, category, and the problems we solve 
  • Collaborate with product managers to develop compelling positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences and differentiates Maxio in the market 
  • Work with the broader marketing team to brainstorm customer-specific activations that align with campaigns 
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize results and ROI

WHO:

  • 5+ years of experience leading full funnel lifecycle initiatives, product marketing, or customer marketing for SMB SaaS product
  • Strong understanding of customer behavior and segmentation
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn how to use our internal tech stack 
    • Google workspace
    • Slack 
    • Salesforce 
  • Basic understanding of or willingness to learn the lingo of more technical buyer personas — finance, accounting, engineering 
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and collaborate with other teams, departments, and individuals 
  • Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change
  • Exceptional writing skills; ability to digest information and turn it into compelling content
  • Analytical and results-driven; ability to assess data to inform recommendations
  • Self-starter with the ability to execute with limited supervision
  • Finance/accounting background
