Lifecycle Marketing is part of the overarching Growth Marketing function and partners and collaborates closely with multiple functions across the organization: Brand, Product and Revenue Marketing, Core and Growth Product, Analytics, and Customer Experience.

Lifecycle Marketing is influential in defining and driving the user communication strategy, impacting the business by using a combination of analytical skills, creativity, and customer insight to craft and implement programs that result in measurable adoption, engagement, and revenue growth.

About the Role

In this role, you will support Miro’s business growth across the whole user journey by onboarding and activating new users, keeping them engaged and aware about new features, and supporting monetization initiatives that help drive and maintain revenue, by designing and executing lifecycle campaigns.

We are looking for someone who can research and use data to understand user lifecycle stages and build strong communication strategies to provide a smooth and personalized experience for Miro users that drives business growth.

What you’ll do

  • Work collaboratively with teams to drive shared monetization goals and metrics (e.g.  revenue, engagement, conversion, retention, etc.) by enabling relevant and effective communication flows
  • Build new and iterate on existing marketing campaigns, triggered, and transactional emails in partnership with content, design, and product teams to create new and improve existing growth and notification loops
  • Research, experiment, validate and test hypotheses, run experiments, constantly measure and report campaign performance, rigorously A/B test, and optimize our communications and triggers across channels
  • Explore and deeply understand our users' experience, lifecycle stages, and segmentation to find growth drivers and deliver customized and personalized experiences to our customers
  • Contribute and drive Miro’s culture of experimentation, collaboration, shared learning, and impact on business

What you’ll need

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing or business roles, including 5+ years managing lifecycle and email campaigns on a large scale, preferably for a SaaS B2C2B/B2B company. Experience in collaboration, productivity, and design spaces is a plus
  • Experience driving revenue and retention through omnichannel lifecycle campaigns, and personalized messaging, both marketing and transactional
  • Deep understanding of marketing channels like email, in-app messaging, and content strategies
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to find opportunities and measure impact. Familiar with A/B and multivariate experiments, can share validated experimentation strategies and optimization results
  • Experienced with email, CRM, and automation tools. Experience with Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce CDP is a big plus
  • Strong ability to identify B2B user needs and pain points, ability to combine user feedback, user behavior knowledge, and data insights, and connect them with the product solutions to drive the best business outcomes
  • A customer-centric marketer, with a strong passion for creating impactful, engaging, and high-quality communications and experiences for users
  • Strong business acumen and ability to tie marketing strategies to business outcomes
  • Excellent written, communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • A strong collaborator with the ability to work and initiate independently
  • Ability to move quickly and make appropriate trade-offs. Growth mindset and tolerance for ambiguity
