About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Counsel to join our fully remote legal team. This position will focus on managing employment-related disputes and litigation across the EMEA region, while also supporting a wide range of commercial matters including supply chain agreements and day-to-day legal issues. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and advise senior management on risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and contractual strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle employment disputes and litigation across EMEA, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
- Provide legal advice and support on employment law matters, including internal investigations, terminations, and employee relations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including supply chain and procurement agreements.
- Advise on legal risks and mitigation strategies across various business functions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including HR, Operations, Procurement, and Sales.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments in key EMEA jurisdictions and provide updates and guidance to business teams.
- Support broader legal department initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes and templates.
Qualifications
- Law degree and current license to practice law
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience, with a strong background in employment law and commercial contracting.
- Experience handling or managing litigation and disputes, ideally across multiple jurisdictions in EMEA.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across cultures and functions.
- Business-oriented mindset and sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior in-house legal experience.
- Familiarity with global or cross-border legal issues.
- Experience supporting supply chain or procurement functions.
