What We're Looking For:

Are you a senior commercial lawyer with extensive experience advising on complex commercial transactions and contract negotiations?

Join Zebra Technologies as Senior Legal Counsel supporting our dynamic EMEA Go-to-Market (GTM) business. In this high-impact, visible role, you will act as a trusted legal partner to regional sales, deal desks, and executive stakeholders - structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial deals across enterprise hardware, software, SaaS, and managed services.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with 3 days a week in our Bourne End office and 2 days working from home. Please note that in mid-2027, we’re relocating to a brand-new space in Maidenhead. We ask that you take this future commute into consideration when applying. The new state of the art office will be situated moments away from Maidenhead Station, offering excellent connections to West London and central London and beyond via National Rail & the Elizabeth Line.

Responsibilities

  • Take point on the drafting and negotiation of significant, high-value customer and partner agreements (SaaS, software, complex managed services, and major public/private bids and tenders).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Bid/Deal Desk, Finance, and Operations teams to structure creative, risk-balanced legal solutions that help close key enterprise opportunities.
  • Serve as the go-to legal advisor for designated EMEA sub-regions, navigating cross-border nuances and commercial initiatives.
  • Deliver prompt, commercial advice on contract interpretation, dispute resolution, product roll-outs, and regulatory matters (with a particular emphasis on data privacy/GDPR).
  • Champion team efficiency by adopting and driving AI-powered legal tools, modern playbooks, and standardised agreement frameworks.
  • Support and mentor junior colleagues in a welcoming, cross-functional international legal department.

Qualifications

  • Legal Qualification: Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent UK/Irish legal qualification) with a current or eligible practising certificate.

  • Proven track record leading negotiations on high-stakes, multi-million-pound commercial agreements, software/SaaS licensing, and services frameworks.
  • Practical, solution-oriented approach with an ability to assess commercial risk pragmatically rather than purely academically.
  • Hands-on experience structuring competitive bids, RFPs, and complex customer master service agreements (MSAs).
  • Cross-border EMEA exposure dealing with international clients or regional counsel.

Benefits:

  • 25 days of vacation
  • Up to 32 hours of paid time off per year to volunteer with a charity of your choice
  • Reward & Recognition scheme - earn points to spend online

  • Annual bonuses based on financial results
  • Yearly salary increases according to individual performance
  • Employee referral bonus for bringing New Talent to Zebra
  • Pension Scheme with a matched contribution up to 7%
  • Private medical and dental cover
  • Access to an innovative online learning platform
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Employee Assistance Program

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 20% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
