In our pursuit of excellence within our Legal Department at Carnival UK, we're seeking an experienced commercial lawyer to join us as a Senior Legal Counsel. You'll bring your legal expertise to a complex, dynamic and commercially driven business, supporting strategic decision-making and business success.
Role Overview
Join our Legal Department and play a key role in supporting a leading global cruise business. This is a unique opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial legal matters, partnering with stakeholders across the organisation and gaining exposure to a breadth of work that is rarely found within a single in-house legal role.
Key accountabilities include:
- Providing commercial legal advice across both business-to-business and consumer-facing matters.
- Negotiating, drafting and managing a wide variety of commercial contracts.
- Supporting stakeholders across IT, procurement and other business functions to deliver commercially focused outcomes.
- Advising on a diverse range of legal issues while balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Solicitor with strong commercial law expertise.
- Proven experience drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial contracts.
- Broad commercial legal advisory experience, ideally gained in-house and/or within private practice.
- IT contracts experience would be highly beneficial.

You're someone who enjoys tackling complex commercial challenges and contributing to the success of a high-performing legal team. You are likely to have at least three years post qualification experience.
