As FuriosaAI's first in-house legal representative, you will build the legal foundation of one of the world's leading AI infrastructure companies. We're looking for someone who combines deep advisory experience at a top-tier law firm with hands-on in-house execution — someone who can lead the full lifecycle of a legal organization, from team building to process maturation.
ResponsibilitiesLead legal support for global commercial transactions, including customer and supplier agreements, strategic partnerships, OEM and channel relationships, cloud service providers, AI infrastructure deployments, licensing arrangements, and technology collaborations.
Establish a legal organization roadmap aligned with business growth, and build a world-class, global legal team, and optimize legal processes, providing consistent oversight across development, foundry outsourcing, and global distribution and sales contracts.
Proactively identify potential legal risks across the global business while effectively managing disputes when necessary.
Advise the business on export controls, sanctions, national security regulations, technology transfer, AI-related regulations, national core technology regulations, and other legal frameworks affecting global AI infrastructure companies.
Lead legal execution for private financings, strategic investments, joint ventures, M&A, and IPO readiness, partnering closely with finance, investor relations, and external counsel.
Build integrated risk management and compliance systems spanning headquarters and overseas subsidiaries.
Design and implement company-wide compliance policies covering anti-corruption, trade compliance, data governance, and third-party risk management.
Establish board operations processes and governance frameworks equivalent to those of a publicly listed company to maximize enterprise value.
Qualified lawyer in Korea or another major jurisdiction with more than 10 years of professional experience, with the ability to practice effectively in Korea.
Combined background in a top-tier law firm and in-house legal leadership at a global tech or manufacturing company.
Proven experience building legal systems and leading teams from the ground up in environments without established legal processes, contributing directly to business outcomes.
Strong grasp of business priorities and goals, with the ability to propose solutions aligned with business growth.
Fluent, bilingual-level business English.
Deep understanding of business models, technology landscape, and regulatory frameworks in AI, semiconductor, or broader deep-tech industries.
Experience across the full IPO lifecycle, from pre-IPO preparation through post-listing governance management.
Strategic experience resolving export control issues across multiple jurisdictions.
