Job Mission
As a senior member of the CHANEL Korea Legal team, you will play a key role in supporting the Company's commitment to integrity, responsible business practices, and long-term sustainable growth.
Working closely with business leaders, regional and global stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, you will help navigate a broad range of compliance, regulatory, governance, and risk matters while contributing to a culture of trust, accountability, and responsible decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide practical and business-oriented legal advice on compliance, regulatory, governance, and risk-related matters.
- Advise stakeholders on employment, workplace conduct, and other people-related legal issues.
- Support investigations, disputes, regulatory inquiries, and other sensitive matters affecting the business.
- Advise on fair trade, competition, consumer protection, and evolving regulatory requirements.
- Partner with regional and global teams on ethics and compliance initiatives.
- Support the brand’s ESG and sustainability commitments through legal and regulatory guidance.
- Contribute to the development of compliance frameworks, policies, training programs, and governance initiatives.
- Support the responsible utilization of AI and emerging technology initiatives by helping identify and manage legal, regulatory, and ethical risks.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and provide strategic insights to business stakeholders.
- Partner with senior leadership on complex and sensitive matters requiring sound judgment and effective stakeholder management.
Academic / Professional Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer in Korea (fluent in English both written/spoken) or Foreign Attorney with strong Korean law advisory experience
Work Experience
- Minimum 8 years’ PQE with law firm and/or in-house legal experience.
- Ideally possess experience in at least two of the following: compliance and ethics programs, regulatory investigations or enforcement, antitrust/competition law, labor and employment, workplace health and safety, criminal/civil litigation, ESG or sustainability, or administrative proceedings.
- Experience managing critical incidents, crisis situations, or sensitive investigations is strongly advantageous. Familiarity with building or operating compliance systems and training programs is a plus.
