- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide legal support and advice. Liaise with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and government agencies as needed.
Requirements:
- Admission to the bar association or equivalent professional body in the relevant jurisdiction.
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in banking at a reputable law firm or as in-house counsel.
- Have a solid understanding of banking laws and relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Effective communication skills to convey legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders. Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and gel effectively as part of a team.
- Strong command of English (written and verbal), enjoy working in a fast-paced high-intensity environment, show excellent legal and commercial judgment
- Be a well-rounded, good team player and be highly efficient.
