  • Provide practical, solution-oriented guidance that identifies legal, operational, and business risks while enabling efficient deal progression and business growth.

  • Contribute legal support across additional business units as business needs dictate, while maintaining clear priorities across multiple active matters and deadlines.

What You'll Need

  • At least ten (10) years of relevant legal experience as a practicing attorney, including at least five (5) years of experience working at a law firm, corporate legal department, or similar organization.

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in any U.S. state or the District of Columbia, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Significant experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on complex commercial agreements.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA, fraud and abuse laws, and legal aspects of Medicare and Medicaid compliance.

  • Ability to assess legal, operational, and business risks and deliver practical, business-oriented guidance to internal stakeholders.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to business and executive audiences.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deals, agreements, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrate growth potential and learning agility by quickly building knowledge in new business areas and applying that learning to evolving legal and commercial needs.

  • Show leadership through influence, collaboration, and strong relationship-building across cross-functional teams, including the ability to navigate differing viewpoints constructively.

  • Adapt effectively to changing priorities, ambiguity, and shifting business demands while remaining focused on outcomes and sound judgment.

  • Apply creative thinking to develop practical solutions for contract, regulatory, and business challenges in a dynamic healthcare technology environment.

  • Use analytical skills to evaluate complex legal and business issues, identify patterns and risks, and support recommendations with sound reasoning and evidence.

  • Nice to have: Experience with high-volume commercial transactions in a sales-driven software or technology company; experience supporting healthcare provider organizations such as hospitals, health systems, physician groups, ambulatory practices, and payers.
