We seek a highly motivated, independent individual that thrives in a high-volume, dynamic environment with rapidly shifting priorities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support and provide day-to-day counsel to the business on general commercial matters by collaborating with business partners at all levels of management to effectively balance minimising legal risk while enabling execution of business strategic objectives.

  • Draft, review and negotiate a variety of complex licensing and collaboration agreements, including, without limitation, sponsored research, software licensing, consortium, and other agreements arising from the Life Sciences Solutions segment.

  • Provide legal advice and counsel on advertising and promotion strategies and activities, including: the use of social media; dissemination of scientific information; product development and labelling; product liability; and other matters relevant to the development, manufacture and commercialisation of life sciences products.

  • Support M&A activities for the Life Sciences organisation.

  • Prepare legal correspondence, including demand letters, cease and desist notices, and other items, as needed and related to the Life Sciences business.

  • Work collaboratively with other members of the legal department and assist as needed.

  • Create, improve and/or update form agreements and processes to improve aspects of contracting procedures and ensure alignment of contract terms with Revvity policies and standards.

  • Perform other related duties, as assigned or requested, as knowledge of the business and legal skills evolve.

Required Qualifications:

  • LL.M., JD, or equivalent degree in law with a focus on intellectual property or life sciences law.

  • Licensed to practise law in any jurisdiction.

  • A minimum of 7+ years’ transactional/commercial experience required, ideally within the pharma or broader life sciences sector.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various functions.

  • Ability to determine risk exposure and advise the business in a practical manner, balancing legal risks with business needs.

  • Ability to work independently and in teams, work efficiently, prioritise workflow, meet demanding deadlines, and manage multi-dimensional projects.

  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong project and process management skills, with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple projects, as well as a wide range of tasks.

  • Customer-focused and solutions-oriented approach to delivering contract management services to internal customers.
