Responsibilities
  • Independently draft, review and negotiate a broad range of complex, high-value commercial agreements across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring alignment with Group policies and business objectives

  • Act as lead legal counsel on cross-border M&A transactions, including acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures and other strategic investments, managing the full transaction lifecycle and coordinating internal stakeholders and external advisors across multiple jurisdictions

  • Provide legal advice on financing transactions, including syndicated and bilateral credit facilities and other Group financing arrangements, partnering with the finance function on strategic and structuring matters across jurisdictions

  • Management of disputes, dispute resolution and litigation and/or investigations across the Group's international operations, including selection and oversight of external counsel and reporting on material matters to senior management

  • Monitor and assess key legal and regulatory developments across the jurisdictions in which the Group operates, and proactively advise the business on their implications and implementation

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Group-wide legal policies, processes and best practices, and provide guidance to business stakeholders on their application

Requirements
  • Master's degree in law and Swiss Bar admission

  • At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience gained in a leading law firm and/or the legal department of an international industrial company, with a demonstrated track record of independently handling complex, cross-border matters

  • Strong business and operational acumen, with the ability to operate effectively in an international, multi-jurisdictional environment

  • Sound judgment in balancing legal risk against commercial and operational priorities, with the confidence to make and defend recommendations at senior levels

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex cross-jurisdictional matters concurrently under time and business pressure, exercising sound autonomous judgment

  • A proactive, adaptable, and results-driven mindset, with credibility and gravitas to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across the organization

  • Languages: German, native; English, fluent; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.

  • Readiness to travel up to 10%

Skills Required

  • Master's degree in law
