To lead the strategy, design, and management of digital learning solutions across the organisation. This role is responsible for driving the end-to-end lifecycle of digital learning, including e-learning development, platform governance (e.g., LMS/LXP), and the adoption of innovative learning technologies to enhance workforce capability and learning experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Digital Learning Strategy & Governance
- Lead and implement the organisation’s digital learning strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and workforce transformation goals
- Govern and optimise the use of digital learning platforms (e.g., LMS, LXP, content libraries), ensuring seamless user experience and operational efficiency
Learning Design & Development
- Oversee the design and development of high-impact digital and blended learning solutions, including e-learning modules, microlearning, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), and immersive learning experiences
- Ensure learning solutions are learner-centric, engaging, and aligned with adult learning principles and instructional design standards
Platform & Content Management
- Manage the full lifecycle of digital content, including curation, development, deployment, maintenance, and retirement
- Ensure content quality, consistency, and relevance across all digital platforms
Needs Analysis & Solutioning
- Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to conduct learning needs analysis and translate capability gaps into scalable digital learning interventions
- Provide expert advisory on appropriate learning modalities, leveraging digital tools and data insights
Learning Technology & Innovation
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in learning technologies (e.g., AI-enabled learning, adaptive learning, learning analytics) and drive innovation in digital learning practices
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, platforms, and solutions to enhance learning effectiveness and user engagement
Measurement & Insights
- Define and track key learning metrics (e.g., engagement, completion, impact on performance) across digital platforms
- Leverage data analytics to generate insights and continuously improve learning effectiveness and ROI
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, SMEs, and external vendors/partners to deliver high-quality digital learning solutions
- Ensure vendor deliverables meet agreed standards, timelines, and business requirements
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Mentor and guide junior learning specialists, fostering strong digital learning capabilities within the team
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the broader organisation
Budget & Resource Management
- Manage budgets related to digital learning platforms, content development, and vendor engagements
- Ensure optimal utilisation of resources and cost-effective delivery of learning solutions
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all digital learning initiatives comply with regulatory requirements, internal governance standards, and audit expectations
- Establish quality assurance processes for content, delivery, and platform performance
