What you'll do:As a Senior Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist, your key area of responsibility will be driving the design and execution of high-impact learning programs and providing expert consultation on change management and organizational development initiatives. You will be responsible for leading large-scale L&D projects that support strategic business transformations, including AI enablement and enterprise content governance, while facilitating sophisticated blended learning experiences for all levels of the organization. You will need to work closely with Geotab’s Product, Content, Marketing, and IT teams, as well as senior leaders and external vendors.
To be successful in this role, you will be a strategic consultant and analytical problem-solver with the ability to conduct in-depth needs assessments and translate complex business requirements into impactful learning and change solutions. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong project management and business acumen, with an ability to identify organizational challenges and align L&D strategies for measurable business impact and ROI. The successful candidate will also be able to mentor L&D Specialists and manage multiple timelines to ensure timely, high-quality results.
How you'll make an impact:Act as an internal business consultant, performing in-depth needs analysis and strategic assessments to understand complex business requirements and operational challenges.
Lead strategic collaboration with cross-functional internal stakeholders and senior leaders to translate critical business needs into actionable learning and development strategies.
Design and implement robust change management initiatives, developing comprehensive communication and adoption strategies to support major business transformations and acquisitions.
Partner with HR on the design and execution of talent development programs, including internal mentorship and leadership development for emerging and senior leaders.
Develop and deliver AI enablement and training programs to build AI literacy and drive the strategic adoption of AI tools across the organization.
Design and implement robust evaluation frameworks, leveraging advanced analytics to measure learning effectiveness and demonstrate the Return on Investment (ROI).
Mentor and guide Learning & Development Specialists, providing coaching on instructional design, facilitation, and project management.
5 - 8 years of experience designing, developing, and leading the delivery of complex, blended learning programs and corporate-wide global initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a closely related strategic field.
Proven expertise in leading large-scale change management, content management governance, or digital transformation projects.
Expertise in leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities for strategic content creation and personalization of learning pathways.
Advanced proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including deep knowledge of xAPI, Tin Can, SCORM, and comprehensive reporting/analytics.
Mastery of adult learning theories and eLearning development software such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia.
Professional certifications such as CTDP, CTP, PMP, or a certification in Change Management are highly preferred.

The annual base salary for this position is the expected annual salary for this role, and may be subject to change.
