The Role

Precision Medicine Group has a new opportunity for a Senior Manager, Learning & Development to join our team.  This a remote position based in the US.

The Senior Manager, Learning & Development is responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining enterprise learning programs that build critical capabilities, strengthen our leadership pipeline, and support exceptional client service. This role translates business strategy and workforce needs into practical, scalable development programs that support employee growth, leadership readiness, and client service excellence. This is a senior-level individual contributor role responsible for building learning programs from the ground up, delivering and facilitating learning experiences, and providing professional coaching to leaders—ensuring learning investments directly support organizational performance and long-term capability.

Learning Priorities & Program Design: Design, develop, and implement end-to-end learning programs aligned to Precision’s business strategy, talent priorities, and evolving capability needs, including conducting training needs analyses and identifying future skill gaps.

Leadership Development & Coaching: Supporting the design and delivery of leadership development programs for high-potential and senior leaders, including cohort-based experiences, assessments, and action learning; provide 1:1 and group coaching as a certified coach to support leader effectiveness and readiness.

Manager Enablement: Develop and deliver manager enablement programs that strengthen core people management capabilities; create practical tools and resources to support managers in a matrixed environment.

Mentoring & Career Development: Design, launch, and sustain an enterprise mentoring program, including structure, matching, onboarding, and evaluation; support career development through learning pathways and skill-based development resources.

Learning Content & Curriculum Design: Create enterprise-wide learning curriculum through utilization of LinkedIn Learning content and learning pathways aligned to critical skills and career stages; design early-career learning curricula that accelerate onboarding, integration, and development.

AI Literacy & Client Service Excellence: Design and deliver AI literacy learning to support responsible, practical adoption of AI tools; partner with business leaders to develop learning that strengthens client service excellence and quality in client-facing and project-based roles.

Facilitation, Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Facilitate live learning experiences (primarily virtual); establish metrics to evaluate learning effectiveness and continuously improve programs using data, feedback, and business outcomes. And other job duties as assigned by the line manager.

Minimum Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or a related field required.
  • 10 or more years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organizational Effectiveness in a global environment.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and building enterprise learning programs from the ground up. 
  • Proven experience delivering leadership development and manager enablement programs. 
  • Active professional coaching certification required (e.g., ICF ACC/PCC/MCC, EMCC, or equivalent). 
  • Experience working in fast paced complex, matrixed, or regulated environments required; CRO, life sciences, healthcare, or professional services experience preferred.

Knowledge, skills and competencies:

  • Expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design, and blended learning methodologies.  
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage senior leaders and diverse audiences.
  • Professional coaching capability, including 1:1 and group coaching. 
  • Experience curating and managing enterprise learning content (e.g., LinkedIn Learning). 
  • Ability to conduct training needs analyses and translate business needs into learning solutions.
  • Knowledge of leadership development, manager capability building, change management, and mentoring best practices. 
  • Comfort enabling AI literacy and emerging skills learning in a responsible, business-aligned manner. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without authority.
  • Analytical skills to measure program effectiveness and apply insights for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and virtual communication skills in a remote work environment.

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
