We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Lean Improvement Engineer to lead continuous improvement projects at our Kaunas site. In this role, you will focus on enhancing production and processes by improving quality, safety, delivery, and cost efficiency. Acting as a Lean expert, you will lead strategic improvements, key initiatives, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
This is an on-site role in Kaunas, with occasional opportunities to work from home, reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, Lean.
About the job:- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects across diverse and complex value streams
- Analyze processes to identify opportunities for improvement in quality, safety, delivery, and cost
- Recommend and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Prepare clear and engaging reports and presentations to share progress and results
- Contribute to the delivery of Yellow Belt and Green Belt training programs.
- Coordinate Yellow Belt training sessions for teams in Kaunas.
- Provide expert knowledge to Lean subcommittees and support cross-functional projects
- Participate in workshops and initiatives that promote continuous improvement
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement, Lean practices, or related roles in manufacturing
Proven experience leading projects and managing teams, with at least one direct report
Strong knowledge and hands-on application of Lean methodologies, including Six Sigma and Kaizen
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage with all organizational levels
Skilled presenter, capable of delivering clear and impactful messages
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail
