The Talent Acquisition lead is responsible for designing and delivering end‑to‑end talent acquisition work for a Semiconductor Global Capability Center, supporting rapid scale‑up of engineering, R&D, digital, IT, and shared services teams. The role combines strategic workforce planning, high‑quality hiring execution, stakeholder partnership, and governance in a highly competitive semiconductor talent market.
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai. This is an individual contributor role, report to Manager HR, KLA India.
1. Talent Acquisition Strategy & Workforce Planning
- Translate global and India GCC workforce plans into actionable TA strategies aligned with semiconductor business priorities.
- Build scalable hiring models for niche, senior, and volume roles while balancing speed, quality, and cost.
- Use external talent intelligence and market insights to advise leadership on demand‑supply risks and capability gaps.
2. End‑to‑End Hiring Delivery
- Own full‑cycle recruitment for lateral, leadership, niche, and critical skills hiring.
- Ensure strong governance on time‑to‑hire, quality of hire, offer‑to‑join ratio, and candidate experience.
- Implement structured assessment frameworks (competency mapping, interview calibration, selection matrices) to reduce bias and enhance quality.
3. Stakeholder & Business Partnership
- Act as a talent advisor to the leaders, Engineering heads, and HR Business Partners.
- Support leaders with talent segmentation, location strategy, and hiring prioritization.
- Partner with global TA, CoEs, and workforce planning teams to ensure alignment with global hiring standards.
4. Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead and develop a high‑performing TA team (recruiters, sourcers, coordinators).
- Drive capability building in hiring, niche skill sourcing, and stakeholder management.
- Foster a culture of data‑driven decision‑making, ownership, and continuous improvement.
5. Employer Branding
- Execute employer branding activities across career pages, job portals, and social media platforms by coordinating content, creatives, and campaigns that highlight the organization’s culture, values.
- Assist in creating and managing employer branding content such as job descriptions, employee testimonials, recruitment videos, campus branding materials, and event collateral in collaboration with TA, marketing, and external vendors.
- Track engagement metrics (career site traffic, social media reach, campaign responses) and support benchmarking of employer branding efforts against competitors to continuously improve talent attraction outcomes.
6. Tools, Analytics & Process Excellence
- Drive adoption and optimization of Workday, recruitment automation, and AI‑enabled sourcing tools.
- Maintain dashboards tracking Turnaround Time (TAT), Quality of Hiring (QOH), sourcing mix, cost per hire, and funnel health etc.
- Standardize TA processes to ensure scalability, audit readiness, and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, data privacy norms, and global TA policies.
- Manage search firms, staffing vendors, through clear SLAs, scorecards, and governance.
- Support audit‑ready recruitment documentation and approvals.
- Post‑graduate degree in HR / Management or equivalent.
- 10–15+ years of Talent Acquisition experience in MNC with 800+ HC, with significant exposure to semiconductor, hi‑tech, or deep‑tech GCCs.
- Proven experience in niche engineering, hiring, scale‑up environments, and leadership stakeholder management.

Minimum Qualifications
