For SDET role : Candidate shall be technically screened by the Vendor on Java Programming, Microservices API Testing, Functional, Playwright and Automation Testing. Rating should be out of 10 on each skill.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience in testing Java-based microservices
  
• Experience with Kafka or any other publish-subscribe messaging tools
  
• Frontend testing experience using React.js, or similar frameworks such as Angular or Vue.js
  
• Automation Testing experience using Java
  
• Minimum 4 years of experience in automation testing
  
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation
  

Good to Have Skills:

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
  
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  

Role Overview / Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with a solid background in both backend and frontend testing. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in testing Java microservices, working with Kafka (or other messaging systems), and automation frameworks. A proactive mindset, strong coding skills in Java, and an ability to test modern web applications built using React or similar frameworks are critical to this role.

Key Responsibilities / Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Java-based microservices
  
• Perform end-to-end testing of frontend components using React, Angular, or Vue
  
• Validate message flows and service integrations using Kafka or similar tools
  
• Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java and preferably Playwright
  
• Work closely with developers and DevOps teams to ensure CI/CD test automation integration
  
• Identify, document, and track bugs while ensuring comprehensive test coverage
  
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test strategies and best practices
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
