Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Risk Analytics Consultant to serve as the Credit Risk Lead for new business initiatives and lending growth strategies within Business Banking. This role will shape how the bank evaluates, launches, and scales business deposit and lending products by assessing credit risk impacts, developing risk strategies, and influencing executive decisions. The successful candidate will partner across Product, Finance, Analytics, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Independent Risk Management to drive sustainable growth while maintaining alignment with the enterprise risk appetite.
In this role, you will:
- Act as an expert advisor to experienced leadership to develop, influence, and interpret analysis for monitoring and oversight of portfolio and deliver insight and decision strategies, with long term goals for highly complex business analysis and modeling companywide
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring strategic, advanced analytical, inductive thinking, and performance monitoring
- Extract data to provide statistical and financial modeling companywide, delivering solutions that are long term, large scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of highly complex activities and guidance to others
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large-scale, companywide strategies
- Engage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent, demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in credit risk management, risk analytics, risk strategy development, or a related financial services discipline.
- Experience developing, evaluating, implementing, and monitoring credit risk strategies.
- Small business, commercial, or consumer lending or deposit risk experience.
- Experience supporting new product development, portfolio expansion, or customer growth initiatives
- Knowledge of credit risk models, portfolio analytics, credit decision strategies.
- Advanced analytics experience using SQL, SAS, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation and monitoring.
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Strong credit risk acumen, including understanding of portfolio performance, key risk drivers and risk-return tradeoffs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable strategy recommendations.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, strategic, and innovative thinking, and sound judgment.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to influence decisions and partner effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$159,000.00 - $305,000.00
