The Role
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager, Human Resources Artificial Intelligence (AI), to join the Human Resources (HR) Transformation & Products Team. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with HR and business leaders across the company to tackle complex problems and develop AI solutions leveraging in-house and SaaS based applications. This role is responsible for HR AI product vision, roadmap, and delivery of solutions. Focus is on developing AI solutions for HR related needs across employees, managers, and HR professionals. This role will help improve HR's ability to provide summarization as well as open-ended query of the data sets to answer questions and provide insights directly to functional areas of HR as well as directly to leaders.
In this role, you will:
  • Advise leadership to develop or influence business plans, business requirements, direct product design and implementation for complex HR business and technical needs.
  • Oversee overall product management and strategic focus for the most technical, complex, and diverse HR products and services.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth understanding of potential synergies, opportunities companywide.
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large scale, and require consideration of global market dynamics, trends, regulatory impact, and risk management.
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are strategically focused.
  • Define the HR AI product vision, set priorities, establish goals, and guide teams in designing, developing, and delivering technology updates and vendor relationships.
  • Manage processes and routines needed to ensure that the product predictably delivers value, adjust planning in situations that may include financial, control, or process roadblocks.
  • Inspect pre-release progress, recommend changes, and ensure timelines are met.
  • Develop and monitor product roadmap and key performance indicators, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
  • Ensure cross-functional dependencies and business readiness needs are articulated, managed, and addressed to successfully execute work with quality and on-time.
  • Engage with leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, scrum masters, project managers and delivery team companywide.
  • Serve as an expert advisor to executives on complex, visible, and diverse solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of AI product experience, including a strong understanding of GenAI, natural language processing, machine learning, and agentic AI concepts as applied to HR workflows and decision-making
  • 3+ years of HR Systems (e.g., Workday, Peoplesoft, SAP, ServiceNow HRSD, Oracle, or similar) experience in a global environment with multiple integrations
  • Proven experience leading AI-driven initiatives in the HR domain
  • Experience applying AI tools for sentiment analysis and summarization of data to drive insights and decision-making
  • Experience consulting, implementing, and owning Human Resource products and tools.
  • Experience leading scrum teams in an Agile environment and strong Agile knowledge.
  • Experience influencing and managing cross-functional work streams to execute initiatives with quality and on-time
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including data science, engineering, and HR business partners to deliver AI-powered solutions
  • Experience leading and facilitating workshops and discussions to effectively gather requirements and achieve a detailed understanding of client objectives and desired outcomes
  • Experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors
  • Familiarity with ethical considerations and data privacy regulations related to AI in HR contexts (e.g., GDPR, EEOC compliance)
  • Ability to translate complex AI concepts into actionable HR strategies and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and partner with senior executives/leaders
  • Ability to leverage leadership acumen to build credibility and direct matrixed resources in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$139,000.00 - $239,000.00
