Wells Fargo's Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) team is an integrated, forward-looking product organization with end-to-end payments, data, liquidity and associated lending solutions that enable our clients to achieve their business objectives in an evolving digital world.
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Management Senior Manager within the Global Payments & Liquidity Management organization, which delivers treasury management solutions to business customers. This role sits within the Information & Data Solutions (I&DS) group, which manages the development and infrastructure of reporting and data products that support a $3B annual Treasury Management business. The team drives initiatives across payments, reporting, receivables, account, and liquidity solutions.
This position requires a senior leader who combines strategic vision with the ability to engage directly in product development and execution. Demonstrated ownership of product P&L-including accountability for financial performance, revenue growth, and operational excellence-supported by strong communication, organizational discipline, and a commitment to transparent, cross-functional engagement, is critical for success in this role. This role will partner closely across Product, Technology, Risk, and Digital to deliver required upgrades and collaborate with Sales, Service, Implementation, and Operations to ensure readiness for product launches.
In this role, you will:
  • Manage and develop a team of individual contributors for leading product strategy
  • Consult, develop, market, and manage performance analysis for products that have high impact on companywide growth opportunities and success
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for product enhancements and business requirements
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of product management team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
  • Interpret and develop pricing policies and distribution strategies, which may include global considerations
  • Collaborate and consult with product managers, analysts and multiple level managers
  • Interact directly with vendors
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Product Management
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
  • Initiates action, manages change, and drives execution.
  • Demonstrates persuasive communication and strong relationship management.
  • Exhibits urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability.
  • Builds high-performing teams that deliver business results through effective leadership and employee engagement.
  • Champions a culture of strong relationships balanced with rigorous risk mitigation and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:
  • 7+ years in transaction banking and treasury management
  • Demonstrated enterprise-level advocacy
  • Expertise in driving enterprise-level advocacy and collaboration for data solutions and efficiency
  • Effective decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate, consult, and influence across executive leadership and supporting organizations (Sales, Service, Implementation, Technology, Risk, Control, Digital)
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering product and technology solutions
  • Experience leading large-scale system change and executing initiatives
  • Strategic business partner, balancing innovation with cultural readiness for change
  • Ability to develop a deep understanding of Wells Fargo vision and values, competitive strengths, industry dynamics, and financial analysis
  • Ability to successfully and effectively operate in complex, matrixed corporate environments
  • Strong business and data acumen, customer service orientation, and operational excellence
  • Strong people management skills to lead geographically dispersed teams and to perform at high standards
Job Expectations:
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • This position is a hybrid work model. Must be willing to work out of the Charlotte, NC, Irving, TX, or Minneapolis, MN office approximately 3 days a week

Pay Range:
  • Charlotte, NC: $139,000 - $217,000
  • Irving, TX: $139,000 - $217,000
  • Minneapolis, MN: $153,000 - $239,000
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
