The Role:
This role will be charged with ensuring your product is valuable (customers will buy and use it) and viable (it works within the many constraints of our business). You will develop an understanding of our customers and the markets we serve, identify opportunities to create value, and will enable your product team to execute. Additionally, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers as well as leaders within our business.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct discovery with customers and prospects and perform market research to identify product opportunities
- Maintain a product roadmap for large, impactful features that drive customer success, create cross-sell & upsell opportunities, and help Datacor expand its total addressable market
- Maintain and prioritize a feature & bug backlog that drive positive customer sentiment and user experience
- Enable the product team to execute upon the roadmap and feature & bug backlog by writing use cases & functional requirements, and ensuring the team understands the problem to be solved & and outcomes/value to be delivered
- Drive go-to-market activities through Marketing, Sales, Services, and Support enablement initiatives
- Run product advisory groups and limited availability programs to foster collaboration with customers, drive adoption, and improve customer sentiment
- Present and collaborate at all levels of an organization, both internally & externally
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years working with enterprise SaaS solutions
- Understanding of modern product discovery and delivery techniques
- Ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing
- Ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
- Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship
- Experience with ERP, process manufacturing, and distribution preferred
