Job Description

As Senior Lead Producer, you are the driving force behind team performance and execution, ensuring the efficient, on-time, and high-quality delivery of mobile games. You lead multidisciplinary teams across Production, Engineering, Art, QA, and external partners while structuring the processes and planning required for successful delivery. You are the guardian of production excellence, aligning talent, processes, and priorities to turn creative vision into reality.

Production Leadership
- Drive end-to-end production: sprint planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and removing blockers.
- Adapt production methodologies to each phase of development, including prototyping, pre-production, production, and live.
- Maintain project documentation and production processes.
- Participate in strategic planning meetings and ensure transparent progress reporting to the Business Unit lead and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure final product quality and alignment with the creative vision.
- Build, plan, and continuously update the project Release Plan in collaboration with production, marketing, and IP partners to align development milestones with publishing goals and external constraints such as QA, certification, TRCs, communications, and partner requirements.
- Manage team staffing in collaboration with the Game Director to meet budget objectives.

Communication and Reporting
- Organize regular sync and problem-solving meetings to ensure smooth communication across team PODs.
- Present and discuss results with internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver clear reporting to leadership and external partners to ensure project alignment and transparency.

External Partner Management
- Identify, evaluate, and manage external vendors across Art, QA, localization, and other disciplines.
- Negotiate, implement, and track deliverables, communications, and actions related to external collaborations.
- Ensure the quality and alignment of external deliverables with project standards and creative vision.

Prototyping for New Games
- Support projects from concept through to launch.
- Adapt production methods across all development phases, from prototype through pre-production to full production.
- Collaborate with the creative team to define game vision and gameplay mechanics.
- Create and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features accordingly.
- Coordinate development sprints and prototyping iterations.
- Manage production milestones and ensure timelines are met.
- Plan and lead user testing sessions to evaluate player experience, UI clarity, and gameplay balance.
- Identify friction points and player behaviors and provide actionable recommendations.

Live Operations
- Plan and coordinate regular content updates including events, new features, and balancing.
- Analyze performance metrics covering retention, monetization, and engagement, and recommend optimizations.
- Manage content calendars and short- to mid-term roadmaps.
- Collaborate with marketing and community teams to maximize player engagement.
- Prioritize bug fixes and improvements based on player feedback.

Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills
- 7 to 10 years of experience in video game production, ideally on mobile titles.
- Proven direct management experience with technical leads across Programming, Art, and QA within teams of 20 to 50 people.
- Strong knowledge of the mobile gaming market and current industry trends.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to support informed decision-making.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as Hansoft, Jira, or Trello.

Additional Assets
- Experience across both new game development and live operations.
- Knowledge of iOS and Android platforms and their specific technical and publishing requirements.
- Experience managing external vendors and collaborative partnerships.
- Proven ability to coach team members and support talent development.
- Understanding of free-to-play business models and mobile monetization strategies.
- Genuine passion for video games and strong awareness of the competitive landscape.
- Bilingualism in French and English.

WORK TYPE
This is a hybrid position. The role requires being present at the Montreal studio for key moments. Eligible applicants must be located in the province of Quebec and have working rights in Canada.
