Overview:

In this role the Sr. Lead Engineer will actively participate in Landing Gear Product Design, Sustaining, MRB Engineering Activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the deliverables meeting the expected quality and on time delivery
• Maintain and develop a positive relationship with customers & other functional groups
• Collaborate with the customer and different departments to ensure completion of the assigned task
• Responsible for compliance to Global trade requirements
• Adherence to quality management process and procedures

Skill Sets:

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles, with expertise in Design, Materials, Manufacturing, and Special Processes.
• Proficient in interpreting and visualizing complex Engineering Drawings, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in CATIA V5, including 3D modeling, assembly design, and generation of detailed manufacturing drawings..
• Working knowledge of PLM tools, especially Teamcenter.
• In-depth understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GD&T (ASME Y14.5-1994 or later) and Tolerance Stack-up analysis.
• Familiarity with Aircraft Landing Gear, including knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and functional aspects of key components.
• Exposure to MRB processes and repair dispositioning of Landing Gear components is an added advantage.
• Practical experience in Gear Design and Hydromechanical products, including valves, and manifolds is plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams including Design, Stress Analysis, and Materials Engineering.
• Self-motivated, quality-conscious, and resilient under pressure, with a high level of integrity and dedication to achieving organizational goals.

Basic Qualification:

• Qualification: BE / B-Tech / ME / M-Tech Mechanical
• Desired Experience: 6-9 Years
