Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Data Product Management Consultant
In this role, you will:
- Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence strategies, objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex data platforms and utilities across multiple groups and functions
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique data product enablement initiatives and challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas of the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and guidance to others, while adhering to set data governance and standards
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant data product solutions that are large-scale cross-functional or companywide strategies
- Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise to ensure data product solutions are built for optimal performance and design analytics applications across multiple platforms and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
- Provide expert input on new use case intake, prioritization, product roadmap definition, and other critical business processes
- Create and maintain highly complex data product roadmaps throughout the data product lifecycle with detailed specifications, requirements, and flows for data capabilities
- Design and maintain innovative data products, enabling data availability for data intelligence, analytics, and reporting
- Serve as a strategic liaison between data management, product teams, data engineering, and architecture teams throughout the data product lifecycle
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Define and execute the key data use cases and analytics initiatives and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
- Design and implementation of scalable data architectures and advanced modeling frameworks.
- Lead end-to-end analytics projects, from requirement gathering to solution delivery.
- Design and implement scalable data models, pipelines, and governance frameworks.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
- Provide thought leadership on data strategy, architecture, and emerging technologies.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants and analysts, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Drive innovation by exploring and applying Gen AI, machine learning, reusability and automation techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, Technology, Operations) to align analytics solutions with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
- Fluent in agile ways of working and agile project management practices, proficient in creating efficient user stories, and other agile project artifacts.
Job Expectations:
- Extensive experience in data analytics, data strategy, advanced analytics, and data management.
- Proven track record of leading key initiatives and delivering complex analytics programs.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and big data ecosystems.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
- Ability to translate business challenges into innovative data-driven solutions.
- Proficiency in Python programming with hands-on experience in developing and debugging code.
- Deep knowledge of AI, Gen AI, and machine learning applications for business transformation.
- Experience with metadata management and data governance practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and data privacy frameworks.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies and their application in analytics.
- Ability to influence organizational strategy through data insights.
