Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Data Management Analyst to lead strategic data management initiatives that improve data quality, strengthen data transparency, and enable business outcomes across the enterprise. This role partners with business and technology leaders to identify and resolve complex data challenges, drive implementation of sustainable data solutions, and advance capabilities related to data quality, governance, metadata, lineage, and data risk management. The successful candidate will influence enterprise strategy, lead cross-functional collaboration, and help modernize data management practices through automation, analytics, and innovative solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs
- Design and conduct highly complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
- Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
- Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
- Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
- Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
- Partner with groups companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution
- 7+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience influencing senior leaders and driving cross-functional alignment to resolve complex data challenges, establish accountability, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale data management, data quality, metadata, lineage, and governance initiatives across multiple business and technology organizations.
- Strong understanding of data risk management, regulatory expectations, and control frameworks, with the ability to design sustainable solutions that improve data quality, transparency, and operational effectiveness.
- Proven ability to leverage modern data management capabilities, including metadata management, data observability, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions to improve data processes and decision-making.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
