About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Lead Communications Consultant to join our team. This role is critical in supporting both business-as-usual (BAU) and crisis communications in a dynamic, 24/7 environment. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional writing skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a passion for delivering clear, timely, and impactful communications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of internal and external communications strategies for critical and routine business operations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for real-time communications during high-impact events, including after-hours and weekends as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
Draft, edit, and distribute communications including alerts, updates, FAQs, talking points, and executive messages.
Monitor communication channels and feedback loops to assess effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
Maintain and update communication protocols and escalation processes.
Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members and stakeholders on communication best practices.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in corporate communications and crisis communications
Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, finance, utilities).
Proven ability to manage communications in a 24/7 environment, including high-pressure or crisis situations.
Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
Experience working across time zones and with geographically dispersed teams.
Comfortable with ambiguity and able to pivot quickly as situations evolve.
Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and takes initiative to implement solutions

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
