Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP CO & PS Functional Lead to join our Digital Technology team.

In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and global customers to design and implement SAP solutions that address complex business challenges. You will leverage your expertise in SAP Controlling (CO) and Project Systems (PS) to deliver scalable solutions, support business transformation, and drive continuous process improvements.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with business and aerospace industry experts to understand complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and help identify and resolve technical challenges that impact on-time product delivery.
  • Develop strategies and solutions to address complex business and technical challenges.
  • Lead and support the delivery of large, medium, and small-scale SAP projects and enhancements.
  • Design, configure, implement, test, and support SAP CO and PS solutions.
  • Provide functional expertise across SAP Controlling, including:
    • Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
    • Cost Element Accounting (CEA)
    • Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
    • Product Costing
    • Profitability Analysis
    • Material Ledger
  • Implement and configure SAP Project Systems (PS) for manufacturing, capitalization, and service-related requirements.
  • Customize and optimize SAP PS functionality to meet evolving business needs.
  • Support financial month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation and maintenance of the Financial Closing Cockpit.
  • Provide end-user training and support across SAP CO and PS processes.
  • Participate in cutover activities for FI/CO implementations.
  • Support integration across FI-MM, FI-SD, and FI-PP processes.
  • Act as an internal consultant throughout systems analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with ABAP, development, and interface teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Work closely with Security, Compliance, Infrastructure, and Project Management teams to manage and document digital technology solutions.
  • Train, coach, and support internal and external resources.
  • Maintain and continuously enhance knowledge of aerospace industry standards, SAP best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Drive customer-focused solutions and build consensus across stakeholders and business functions.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP CO and PS implementation, with experience across multiple projects.

    • PCA
    • Product Costing
    • Profitability Analysis
    • Material Ledger
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP Project Systems (PS), particularly in manufacturing, capitalization, and service-related processes.
  • Experience in SAP CO/PS configuration, development coordination, testing, and implementation.
  • Experience working on business projects, enhancements, and production support activities.
  • Strong understanding of SAP functional processes and cross-functional integration.
  • Hands-on experience with FI/CO cutover activities.
  • Experience with integrations across FI-MM, FI-SD, and FI-PP.
  • Experience supporting month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion projects.
  • Experience in SAP solution design and architecture.
  • Previous experience in the aerospace, manufacturing, or other complex industrial environments.
  • Experience working with global teams and international customers.
  • Strong understanding of SAP integration with broader enterprise processes.
  • Experience in project management or leading SAP workstreams.
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior SAP professionals.
  • Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and best practices.
  • Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs, or systems and the ability to enhance and leverage existing solutions.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced education or certifications in SAP CO, SAP PS, or S/4HANA will be an added advantage.
