In this role, you will:

Provide data analytics to show compliance with regulatory requirements or internal policies, and business intelligence around trading operations (trading activities and inventory positions)

Build trade data reports on a daily basis to review the prior day trading activities to identify any exceptions
-
Pull daily P&L data utilizing R, Python, SQLite, ODS and Excel to share with WIM Senior leadership, Risk, Finance, and Trading Desk

Contribute data and analytic insight to the preparation of WIM Committee presentations
-
Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
-
Share business insights obtained from data reporting to WIM Trading teams

Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence plans, specifications, resource needs, and goals for multi-faceted, highly complex, or long-term risk mitigation and control strategies on behalf of the business

Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers in WIM

Ensure reporting complies with new regulations and internal policy changes

Create Ad hoc reports related to Fixed Income as requested by Senior Leaders
Required Qualifications:
-
7+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
-
Demonstrated experience pulling, analyzing, and reviewing trading data against business requirements in order to meet a variety of needs, including controls, regulatory requirements, and business intelligence

Working knowledge of business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, SQL, Python, R, and SQLite

Working knowledge with financial databases, such as Oracle or ODS
-
Ability to build effective partnerships with Compliance, Legal, Risk and Technology to provide solutions or recommendations based on data analytics
-
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills to share data analytics with trading team, partners and senior leaders in Wealth & Investment Management

Familiarity with compiling information from investment transactions, such as brokerage account data, securities data, and trading data

Working knowledge of investment research tools, such as Bloomberg
