Role Summary
The Lead AI Engineer designs and delivers AI and computer vision solutions on Microsoft Azure, focusing on scalable, production‑ready systems. This role bridges data science and engineering and owns AI components end‑to‑end.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI/ML and computer vision solutions.
- Productionize models using Azure services and APIs.
- Build scalable inference pipelines and AI services.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists.
- Define AI engineering best practices and patterns.
- Guide and mentor AI engineers.
- Ensure performance, reliability, and responsible AI practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–6 years of experience in AI / ML engineering.
- At least 1 year of real‑world image processing / computer vision experience.
- Strong Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Experience with Azure ML, containers, and model deployment.
- Experience owning AI solutions from development to production.
- Exposure to Foundry.
- Experience with real‑time or near‑real‑time inference systems.
- Knowledge of model monitoring and drift detection.
