What you will do
- Design layouts for transistor-level analog and mixed signal circuit blocks and sub-systems
- Manage project layout design queue and timelines for all the projects running in business group
- Guide, mentor and supervise contract layout resources
- Responsibilities will include detailed documentation, collaborating with design/layout/process team
- Interfacing with process, packaging, and Intellectual Property leaders across company to collaborate and influence development of the world class products that solve our customers’ problems
- Actively participate and contribute to product definitions
- Develop innovative new designs for patenting or protecting as trade secret.
What you will need
- Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of Analog/Mixed Signal Layout Design Experience (Core IPs like amplifiers, data converters, LDOs, Digital Filters, Transceivers etc.)
- Experience in Layout Design tools such as Virtuoso, Virtuoso-XL
- Experience in post-layout parasitic extraction with tools like Calibre, Assura etc.
- Experience in Pcell development, SKILL programming, PDK maintenance is a plus
- Experience in digital place and route is a plus
- Solid track record of executing competitive layouts to plan
- Knowledge of semiconductor processes and packages
- Strong layout design concepts and familiarity with analog circuits
- Strong time management skills
- Should be able to mentor junior layout engineers and should be able to manage work assignments to contract layout resources
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively
- Ability to take initiative and drive for results
- Good verbal and written communication skills
