R360, a Waste Connections company, has an immediate opening for a highly motivated, results-oriented Senior Landman in at our office in The Woodlands, Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiating and managing mineral rights, leases, and land contracts
- Conducting due diligence for property and company transactions
- Ensuring regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Collaborating with legal teams, geologists, and stakeholders
- Resolving land disputes and curing title defects
- Leading teams and overseeing junior landmen or contractors
- Preparing lease agreements and tracking rental receipts
- Researching ownership records and title histories
- Drafting and executing legal documents such as deeds and contracts
Qualifications:
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms
- Legal acumen in property law and energy regulations
- Excellent research abilities for title and land use analysis
- Clear communication to build trust with landowners and stakeholders
- Technical proficiency with GIS and land management software
- Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Land Management, Business, or Law
