THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As a Senior KYC Analyst at Zalando, you will be part of our internal KYC team helping to mitigate all risks associated with illicit activities and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. It involves a strong combination of process excellence, monitoring of partner due diligence and risk assessment. Ultimately you will contribute directly to compliance outcomes by processing KYC cases and indirectly to commercial outcomes and have a significant impact on the post-sales journey of our partners.
WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

Data collection, partner communication (collection of data sets, enablement, answering questions), review of submitted information and verification of Partner data, screenings against negative lists and approvals.

Drive the onboarding of new partners and regular reviews of existing partners in compliance with KYC requirements; collect partner data and allow for a partner-centric communication of the requirements and process steps.

Analyze KYC documentation in accordance with Zalando AML policy & KYC process description and performing research via internal tools and external sources. Escalate potential risks and technical issues, where applicable.

Driving your KYC case management process performance against a clear set of KPIs providing reporting to management on a weekly basis.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

Preferably 1 year of experience in AML/KYC or any relevant field.

Basic understanding of KYC/AML regulations.

Has high standards, values hard work, is results-driven and can demonstrate meticulous attention, ownership, accountability and team collaboration.

Good skills with Excel spreadsheets and a good working knowledge of Salesforce CRM tools. Excellent written and oral skills in English is mandatory.
